On our last day in Vienna, we took a bus trip to Melk, a small town on the Danube. The town is dominated by a large Abby at the top of the hill.
One of the painted ceilings is flat but appears to be domed. It really is an amazing allusion.
There are some 80,000 rare books in the library.
A sense of humor is evident almost everywhere. Here is a Chinese restaurant in the village that has a wide-open front door.
On Sunday, we left Vienna one last time and headed on a bus for Passau.
