Vienna has the reputation of being one of the best places on Earth to visit. It is indeed a beautiful city, with great public transportation, museums, music, food, and art.
Here’s our local tour leader in front of one of the many fountains in the heart of the city.
This was before we were wired for sound. On board our ship were wireless mikes and ear plugs to help us hear what the tour leaders were saying. The combination of foreign accents, loud city environments, and a tour leader that walked too fast made it almost impossible to get much useful information.
After our city tour, we went across the street to an information center to ask about local concerts.
