Although the Czech Republic is a member of the European Union, it was the only country that we visited that is not a part of the Eurozone. On our bus transfer from Prague to Vienna, we stopped in Bratislava, the capitol Slovakia, for lunch and some time to explore the city. We had left our few remaining Czech Korunas as a tip for the maid, and now in Slovakia we found an ATM and got our first supply of Euros.
We were told that because of the floods on the Danube River, there would be a delay in checking into the our ship, the Aria, in Vienna and that we would spend the first couple of days in a hotel. But yet again, there would be one more small problem…
